Established in 2019, CYEAD is a collective of visionary young entrepreneurs dedicated to creating social impact and fostering positive change within Cambodia and globally. Our association was conceived as a conduit for connection, collaboration, and the cultivation of business opportunities within Cambodia and beyond.
Since our inception, CYEAD has undergone a comprehensive formalization process, and we are honored to serve as a trusted advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia. In our capacity as an advisory body and member association, we provide a portal through which the international community can engage with and invest in Cambodia’s burgeoning economy.
Our efforts have supported local entrepreneurs in scaling their operations across borders, facilitating business expansion, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and the co-creation of new enterprises. The networks and connections we have fostered are instrumental in propelling business development and facilitating collaborative endeavors that contribute to local, regional, and international economic advancement.

CYEAD spearheads critical ventures across Cambodia. From a special economic zone in Kampong Speu province to Cambodia’s first Japanese-style retirement village, we’re making waves. Meeting with THE Council for the development of Cambodia
In a landmark meeting, the Cambodia Young Entrepreneurs Association for Development (CYEAD) convened with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) to discuss burgeoning investment opportunities within the nation. This pivotal assembly, held in Phnom Penh, marked a significant stride towards bolstering Cambodia’s economic landscape. The dialogue, led by Chea Vuthy of the CDC and Hong Cheng Chun of CYEAD, centered on identifying potential business ventures and employment prospects, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, agro-industry, real estate, industrial developments, and ecotourism. The meeting underscored CYEAD’s commitment to drawing foreign investments from neighboring countries, aiming to elevate Cambodian SMEs to a competitive regional stature and generate ample employment opportunities for the youth and local communities
cambodia-thai business matching event
The Cambodian-Thai Business Matching 2023 took place in Phnom Penh on October 28. Organized by the Cambodia Youth Entrepreneurs Association for Development (CYEAD), this event brought together business figures from both countries. During the opening ceremony, Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul encouraged CYEAD to regularly conduct such programs. The goal was to foster investment, drive socio-economic progress, and strengthen Cambodian-Thai relations. Additionally, CYEAD is preparing for a Cambodia-Japan business matching forum in the near future. The trade between Cambodia and Thailand in the first nine months of 2023 totaled over $2.8 billion, with Cambodia’s exports to Thailand at over $652 million and imports from Thailand reaching more than $2.17 billion.

To strengthen trade and investment ties between Indonesia and Cambodia, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade and the Indonesian Embassy in Phnom Penh organized a Business Matching event. This event brought together young entrepreneurs from Cambodia with Indonesian companies, emphasizing the untapped potential for business cooperation between the two nations, especially among the younger entrepreneurial sectors. The event saw the participation of twenty-three Cambodian entrepreneurs, all members of the Cambodia Youth Entrepreneurs Association for Development (CYEAD). Their visit to Jakarta aimed to explore opportunities for trade and investment cooperation, highlighting the proactive steps taken by both countries to foster economic collaboration.
