The Cambodian-Thai Business Matching 2023 took place in Phnom Penh on October 28. Organized by the Cambodia Youth Entrepreneurs Association for Development (CYEAD), this event brought together business figures from both countries. During the opening ceremony, Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul encouraged CYEAD to regularly conduct such programs. The goal was to foster investment, drive socio-economic progress, and strengthen Cambodian-Thai relations. Additionally, CYEAD is preparing for a Cambodia-Japan business matching forum in the near future. The trade between Cambodia and Thailand in the first nine months of 2023 totaled over $2.8 billion, with Cambodia’s exports to Thailand at over $652 million and imports from Thailand reaching more than $2.17 billion.
